Brakes and brake pads Ouxi H9: how to choose the right part
An electric fatbike is heavy and fast: good brakes are the most important part for your safety. The Ouxi H9 shares many parts with the V8 and C80, such as brakes, lighting, and footrests, but has its own controller in multiple versions (1.0-4.0).
Common signs that something is wrong: long braking distance, squeaking brakes, brake lever that reaches all the way to the handlebar, brake disc with grooves or play.
What to look for before you order
Compare the type of brake system (mechanical or hydraulic), the brand of the brake caliper (for example Zoom or Logan), the shape of the brake pads, and the diameter of the brake disc (160, 180, or 203 mm). On the H9, the length of the motor cable differs per version: compare the cable of your bike with the photos before you order. Unsure? Tip: Replace the brake pads as soon as the brake material is thinner than 1-1.5 mm and do not wait until metal touches the disc.
