3. Prices

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout, before you pay. Collection in The Hague or Zoetermeer is free. We are not bound by obvious pricing errors.

4. Order and Contract

The contract is concluded as soon as you receive the order confirmation by email. In the event of an obvious pricing error or if a product is no longer available, we will contact you. If you do not want an alternative, you will receive a full refund.

5. Payment

You pay using one of the payment methods listed at checkout, such as iDEAL or in3. We ship your order after receiving payment.

6. Delivery

We deliver to the address you provide, or you can collect your order free of charge from one of our stores. Delivery times are indicative. If we cannot deliver within 30 days, you may terminate the contract free of charge. More information can be found on the Shipping and Returns page.

7. Right of Withdrawal

7.1. You have a 14-day cooling-off period. The cooling-off period begins on the day after you or a third party designated by you receives the product. Within this period, you may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason.

7.2. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify us within the cooling-off period using the standard withdrawal form, by email to info@sachefatbikes.nl, or in another unambiguous manner.

7.3. After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to return the product to: Sache Bikes – Retouren, Industrieweg 46b, 2382 NW Zoeterwoude-Rijndijk, the Netherlands. You may also return the product to one of our stores.

7.4. During the cooling-off period, you must handle the product and its packaging with care. You may only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functionality. You may only handle and inspect the product as you would be allowed to do in a store.

7.5. You are only liable for any reduction in the product's value resulting from handling the product in a manner that exceeds what is permitted under Article 7.4. You are not liable for any reduction in value if we have not provided you with all legally required information about the right of withdrawal before or at the time of concluding the contract.

7.6. You must return the product, where reasonably possible, with all supplied accessories, in its original condition and packaging, and in accordance with the reasonable and clear instructions we provide. You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the product, unless the product is defective or does not match your order.

7.7. We will refund the full amount of your order, including standard shipping costs, within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal. You are only responsible for the costs of returning the product from your home to us. We may delay the refund until we have received the product or until you have demonstrated that you have returned it. We will use the same payment method as for your order.

8. Exclusions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made or adapted to your specifications, sealed products that are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons if the seal is broken after delivery, or products that have been irrevocably mixed with other products after delivery.

9. Warranty

New products are covered by the statutory warranty: a product must perform as you may reasonably expect it to. In addition, we offer a 1-year warranty on fatbike frames and a 6-month warranty on electrical components. Read more on the Warranty page.

10. Use of Fatbikes

You are responsible for using your bicycle in accordance with the rules of the road. In the Netherlands, an e-bike may only provide assistance while pedalling, up to 25 km/h, and with a motor of no more than 250 W. Bicycles that do not meet these requirements may require a registration plate, insurance, and helmet.

11. Liability

Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits the rights you have as a consumer.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions and all contracts are governed by Dutch law.

13. Complaints

13.1. Do you have a complaint? Please report it as soon as possible, describing it fully and clearly, via the Complaints page, by email to info@sachefatbikes.nl, or via WhatsApp (+31 85 060 9232). We will always first try to find a solution together.

13.2. We will respond to your complaint within 14 days of receipt. If we need more time, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt within 14 days, indicating when you can expect a more detailed response.

13.3. Sache Bikes is a member of WebwinkelKeur. If we cannot resolve a complaint together, a dispute will arise that is subject to the Dutch dispute resolution scheme. You can then contact WebwinkelKeur via webwinkelkeur.nl, which provides free mediation. If no solution is reached, you can have your complaint handled by the independent dispute committee appointed by WebwinkelKeur. Its ruling is binding, and both the trader and the consumer agree to this binding ruling. Submitting a dispute to this committee involves costs that must be paid by the consumer to the relevant committee.
