Ordering and shipping

How do I order from Sache Bikes?

Choose your part or accessory, add it to your cart and check out. You can search by part or by model, for example Ouxi V8 parts or Qmwheel V20 parts. After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation by email.

How quickly will my order be shipped?

If you order on a working day before 16:30, we will ship your order the same day. Within the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, you will usually receive it within 1-3 working days. As soon as your package is on its way, you will receive an email with the track & trace code.

How much does shipping cost?

Within the Netherlands, shipping costs €8.95, over 15 kg €18.95. To Belgium and Germany €10.95 (over 15 kg €20.95), to the rest of the EU and countries outside the EU €25. From €125, we ship free to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

We deliver fatbikes and city bikes in the Netherlands and Belgium for €75; to Germany and all other countries by pallet for €250. More information on shipping and returns.

Can I pick up my order for free?

Yes, pickup is free. Choose pickup in The Hague (Calandkade 44-45) or Zoetermeer (Philipsstraat 3B) at checkout. Your order is usually ready within an hour; we will let you know when you can come.

Is my fatbike delivered ready to ride?

For many of our fatbikes, you choose between Ready to ride (our workshop assembles and sets up the bike for you) and In box (you assemble it yourself and get a €50 discount). You will see the choice on the product page.

Do you also ship batteries?

Yes. We ship lithium batteries with packaging and a carrier according to the rules for dangerous goods. You can also pick up a battery for free in The Hague or Zoetermeer.

Workshop and maintenance

When should my fatbike be serviced?

We recommend three services during the first year of use of your fatbike:

1st service · Bronzeafter approx. 900 km€55 · now €45 as credit
2nd service · Goldafter approx. 1,800 km€85
3rd service · Goldafter approx. 2,700 km€85

During the first few kilometers, cables, bolts and brakes settle. By coming in for service on time, you prevent wear and major repairs.

How much does a service cost and what does it include?
  • Bronze €55: tire pressure checked, brake pads replaced, all bolts checked.
  • Gold €85: everything in Bronze, plus derailleur and chain adjustment and an extensive system check.
  • Premium €125: everything in Gold, plus deep clean and rust spots painted matte black.

You choose your service and see the price immediately on book an appointment.

Can I buy maintenance in advance as credit?

Yes, with the maintenance credit: the first service (Bronze) for €45 instead of €55, or all three services (Bronze + 2x Gold) for €179 instead of €225.

Good to know: the credit is linked to the frame number of your fatbike and is not paid out in cash, even in case of theft. If you buy a new fatbike from us, we will gladly transfer it for you.

How do I book an appointment for maintenance or repair?

Via book an appointment, you choose a service package and individual repairs, see the price immediately and send your request via WhatsApp. You bring your bike yourself (free), or we pick it up: in The Hague or Zoetermeer €35, outside the region €65. Returning it costs €35.

How quickly will my bike be ready?

We usually have parts in stock, so your bike is often ready the same day. Do you really need it quickly? Then choose express at your appointment, and we will try to fit you in sooner.

Where are your stores and what are the opening hours?

Zoetermeer: Philipsstraat 3B, Monday to Saturday 10:00-18:00.
The Hague: Calandkade 44-45, Tuesday to Saturday 10:00-18:00.
Both stores have their own workshop and you can pick up your online order for free.

My display shows an error code, what now?

Look at error codes per display: choose your display and your code and see immediately what you can do yourself. If that doesn't work, schedule an appointment in the workshop.

Fatbikes and regulations

What are the rules for fatbikes in the Netherlands?

A fatbike is considered a bicycle with pedal assistance if the motor has a maximum of 250W and only assists up to 25 km/h while pedaling. A throttle may only work up to 6 km/h; if it goes faster without pedaling, it is a moped with license plate and insurance requirements. Read fatbike rules in the Netherlands.

Are Sache Bikes fatbikes legal?

Yes. All fatbikes we sell are legal: 250W, pedal assistance up to 25 km/h and a throttle that only works as walking assistance up to 6 km/h. We do not sell parts to bypass these limits.

How far can I ride on one battery?

With one standard battery you will ride approximately 40-60 km, with an 18 or 18.2Ah battery 60-80 km and with two batteries 80-120 km. The exact range depends on your weight, the assistance mode, wind and temperature. Compare models in the fatbike comparison.

Which fatbike is right for me?

Use the fatbike advisor: answer a few short questions and see immediately which models suit you.

Can I take a test ride?

Yes, for free. Schedule a test ride in our showroom in Zoetermeer or our store in The Hague and choose the model, day and time that suit you.

I have a bike shop: can I become a dealer?

Yes. We supply more than 900 affiliated dealers in Europe. As a dealer, you order at dealer prices excl. VAT, with free shipping from €125 and ordered before 16:30 = shipped today. Read everything on become a dealer.

What discount do dealers get?

In addition, there is an annual turnover reward: Bronze (from €10,000) 3%, Silver (from €15,000) 6% and Gold (from €25,000) 9%. You always get the highest of the two.

How do I log in as a dealer?

I am a dealer outside the Netherlands: how does it work with VAT?

Dutch dealers pay 21% VAT and receive a VAT invoice. Dealers in Belgium, Germany and other EU countries check out without VAT (VAT reversed) if they enter their valid VAT number at checkout.
