Brakes and brake pads Qmwheel V30: what to pay attention to before ordering
An electric fatbike is heavy and fast: good brakes are the most important part for your safety. The Qmwheel V30 shares most parts with the V20 Pro and S20: battery, lighting, brakes and pedal sensor.
Common signs that something is wrong: long braking distance, squeaking brakes, brake lever that reaches the handlebar, brake disc with grooves or play.
What to pay attention to before ordering
Compare brake system type (mechanical or hydraulic), brake caliper brand (for example Zoom or Logan), shape of the brake pads and diameter of the brake disc (160, 180 or 203 mm). Pay attention to the year of manufacture for the display and the charger: the newer versions use a 3-pin connector. Not sure? Tip: Replace the brake pads as soon as the brake material is thinner than 1-1.5 mm and do not wait until metal touches the disc.
