The hub motor in the rear wheel converts the battery's energy into pulling power and is one of the most heavily stressed parts. The Ouxi V8 is one of the most popular fatbikes in Europe and has been released in various versions, including 1.0, 2.0, Pro, and Ultra.
Common signs that something is wrong: humming or metallic sound, motor spinning freely without pulling, jerking when starting off, reduced power.
What to pay attention to before ordering
Compare power, connector type and color, rear fork installation width, and number of spokes. Per version, the controller, display, and connectors differ: always check the color of the motor connector (red or black) and the cable length. Unsure? Tip: A motor that makes a lot of noise often only has worn gears: replacing them is much cheaper than a new motor.
