Qmwheel V20 charger: what to pay attention to before ordering
With the right charger you charge the battery safely and it will last longer. The Qmwheel V20 is one of the best-selling fatbikes and has been made in many versions since 2022, including V20 Pro, V20 Mini and V20 Cross.
Common signs that something is wrong: light that does not change color, battery that does not charge, connector or charger that gets very hot.
What to pay attention to before ordering
Compare output voltage (42V for a 36V battery, 54.6V for a 48V battery), current in amperes and connector type (1-pin, 3-pin or XLR). Depending on the year of manufacture, the V20 has a controller and motor with a red connector or with a black motor cable, and different cable lengths for the taillight. Unsure? Tip: Always use a charger with the same voltage as your battery and remove it as soon as the battery is full.
Frequently asked questions about Qmwheel V20 charger
Can I use any charger for the Qmwheel V20?
No: voltage and connector must fit the battery. A charger of 54.6V is for a 48V battery, a charger of 42V for a 36V battery.
How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
That depends on the capacity and the charging current: with a 2A charger, a 15Ah battery takes about 7-8 hours. A fast charger is much faster.
