Pedal sensor Qmwheel V20: how to choose the right part
The pedal sensor (PAS sensor) tells the controller that you are pedaling, so that the pedal assistance kicks in. The Qmwheel V20 is one of the best-selling fatbikes and has been made in many versions since 2022, including V20 Pro, V20 Mini, and V20 Cross.
Common signs that something is wrong: assistance that kicks in late, cuts out, or does not work at all while the throttle still works.
What to look for before ordering
Compare the location of the sensor (under the battery, under the saddle, or at the pedal crank), number of pins, and connector color. Depending on the year of manufacture, the V20 has a controller and motor with a red connector or with a black motor cable, and different cable lengths for the taillight. Not sure? Tip: Before replacing the sensor, check whether the magnet ring is intact and close enough to the sensor.
