Choosing a pedal assist sensor for your fatbike
The pedal assist sensor (PAS sensor) tells the controller that you are pedaling, so the pedal assist kicks in.
Common symptoms: assistance that kicks in late, cuts out, or does not work at all while the throttle still works.
What to pay attention to before ordering
Compare the location of the sensor (under the battery, under the seat, or at the bottom bracket), the number of pins, and the color of the connector. The compatible models are listed in the title of each product; if you are unsure, contact us via WhatsApp.
Tip: Before replacing the sensor, first check whether the magnet ring is intact and close enough to the sensor.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the pedal assist of the fatbike not work when I pedal?
The pedal assist sensor or the intermediate cable is often the cause. If the throttle works but pedaling does not, this is the first component to check.
Pedal assist sensor or torque sensor?
A pedal assist sensor only measures whether the pedals are turning, while a torque sensor also measures how hard you pedal. This feels more natural, but you need a compatible controller.
