7GO EB2 pedal sensor: how to choose the right part
The pedal sensor (PAS sensor) tells the controller that you are pedaling, so that the pedal assistance kicks in. The 7GO EB2 belongs to the EB series from 7GO, in which the EB2, EB3, EB4 and EB8 share the display, motor, controller and sensors.
Common signs that something is wrong: assistance that kicks in late, cuts out, or does not work at all while the throttle does.
What to pay attention to before ordering
Compare the location of the sensor (under the battery, under the seat, or at the pedal crank), number of pins, and color of the connector. For the EB2 we also have specific parts, such as the Diamond seat and the storage compartment. Unsure? Send a photo via WhatsApp, and our specialists will check if the part fits.
Tip: Before replacing the sensor, first check if the magnet ring is intact and close enough to the sensor.
Frequently asked questions about 7GO EB2 pedal sensor
Why does the pedal assistance of the 7GO EB2 not work when I pedal?
Often the pedal sensor or the intermediate cable is the cause. If the throttle works but pedaling does not, this is the first part to check.
Pedal sensor or torque sensor?
A pedal sensor only measures whether the pedals are turning, a torque sensor also measures how hard you pedal. That feels more natural, but you need a suitable controller for it.
