Pedal sensor Qmwheel V20 Pro: what to look for before ordering

The pedal sensor (PAS sensor) tells the controller that you are pedaling, so that the pedal assistance kicks in. The Qmwheel V20 Pro has a different front fork, suspension, and 3-pin charger than the standard V20.

Common signs that something is wrong: assistance that kicks in late, cuts out, or does not work at all while the throttle still works.

What to look for before ordering

Compare the location of the sensor (under the battery, under the saddle, or at the pedal crank), number of pins, and connector color. Many electrical parts are shared with the S20 and V30: the title of each product states which models it is compatible with. Not sure? Send a photo via WhatsApp, and our specialists will check if the part fits.

Tip: Before replacing the sensor, check whether the magnet ring is intact and close enough to the sensor.

Frequently asked questions about Qmwheel V20 Pro pedal sensor

Why does the pedal assistance of the Qmwheel V20 Pro not work when I pedal?

Often, the pedal sensor or the intermediate cable is the cause. If the throttle works but pedaling does not, this is the first part to check.

Pedal sensor or torque sensor?

A pedal sensor only measures whether the pedals are turning, while a torque sensor also measures how hard you pedal. This feels more natural, but you need a suitable controller for it.
