Ouxi H9 won't turn on

You press the power button and nothing happens: no display, no lights. Usually, the problem lies with the power supply, and it is often easier to fix than you think. Below, you will find out what you can check for each cause on your Ouxi H9, and which part you need.

Most common causes

Battery empty or in deep sleep

A battery that hasn't been charged for a long time may shut itself off. Charge it fully for at least a few hours. View batteries.

Battery not properly installed or lock turned off

Remove the battery and click it back into place. Check whether the battery lock is set to "on" and whether the contact points are clean. View battery locks.

Faulty charger or charging port

Is the light on the charger not lit, or does it stay green while the battery is empty? Then the charger may be the problem. The H9 charges with the 1-pin Ouxi charger. View chargers.

Loose connector at the handlebars

Check the connector between the display and the wiring harness. Moisture or a partially loose connector is a common cause. View wiring harnesses.

Faulty display or controller

Does the battery work (on another bike or meter), but everything remains off? Then the display or the controller is often to blame. The Ouxi H9 has the M5 display (new version), just like some Ouxi V8 2.0 and 3.0 models. View displays for the Ouxi H9.
