Koolux X9 controller: how to choose the right part
The controller is the electronic brain of your fatbike: it powers the motor and communicates with the display, lights, brakes, and pedal sensor. The Koolux X9 and X9 Pro are available with a single or dual battery, and therefore some parts differ.
Common signs that something is wrong: motor does not pull, error codes on the display, assistance that jerks, lights on but motor does nothing.
What to pay attention to before ordering
Compare maximum current (for example 15A, 21A or 25A), color and type of the motor connector, cable lengths, and mounting location. For the dual battery version, you need your own controller and distributor; the motor comes with a 3- or 9-pin connector. Not sure? Tip: Take a photo of all connectors before disconnecting the old controller: this makes it much easier to connect the new one.
